Seeking

“What are you seeking?”
May Your question
Clarify our intention
And be a reminder
We live leaning
Toward what we love.

May our first thoughts as we wake,
And our final thoughts before we sleep,
Be to seek and find
The God who is seeking us and
The God who has found us.

May we align our lives,
arrange our schedules,
And allocate our finances,
For the common good
And for blessing the people
And this place.

May what we long for,
And what we labor toward,
Be Your Kingdom come
In our country,
And our city,
And our neighborhood,
And next door.

May we seek
Your heart,
Your will,
Your way.
