Mental Health Workers

May God be the Shepherd who guards your heart,
As you guide others toward healing and health.

May He provide a stillness to your soul,
While you work to lead people to places of physical, mental, and emotional rest.

As you guide people on paths toward wholeness,
May your own journey of healing and wholeness never end.

May you know the Spirit is with you.
As you walk with the wounded
Through the valleys of life and shadows of death.

May those you lead not live in fear of evil,
For the love of God is for them,
and with them, and in them.

May your counsel and questions,
Be sources of safety and strength.

May your presence be a table of healing
In the midst of tragedy or when surrounded by enemies.

May your work be peace poured out and flowing over
Restless minds, severed hearts, and fractured lives.

May goodness, beauty, and mercy
Be always in your company.

And may you dwell with God, rooted in His love
Forever.

Amen.
